New Zealand Organic Market Report 2012

Our 2012 Market Report showed steady growth in organic land and economic value in New Zealand. From 2007 to 2012, the total land area under organic certification increased by 67%, reaching 106,753 hectares. The total value of the organic sector in New Zealand, including exports and the domestic market, was estimated between $340-$360 million in 2012 — an increase of 25% since 2009.
