Rachel Short

Rachel Short, in partnership with her husband and parents, own two certified organic dairy farms in Coastal Taranaki.  Over the past couple of years, they have also embarked on a journey adopting more regenerative practices into their farming system.  

As well as being hands-on in the day to day running of one of the farms, Rachel is responsible for administration on both farms as well as being on the Organic Dairy and Pastoral Group Executive Committee and the Fonterra Organic Farmer Advisory Group.   

Outside of farming, Rachel enjoys spending time with her two sons following their passion for BMX and Motocross.
