WATCH: Meeting with MPI - 14 APRIL 2022

WATCH: Last week, the Organic Bill, Regulations and Standard Action Group hosted Shona Scott and her team from MPI to provide an update on MPI's Advisory Council and Working Groups that will be used in the development of the national organic standard.

MPI has been working to establish an Organic Products Advisory Council to help develop the new regulatory regime for organic products including the future National Organic Standard. The role of the Council is to help test and refine requirements and elements of the regulatory framework to ensure that these are workable, practical, and fit for purpose.
