Organic Winegrowers NZ, Bragato Research Institute (BRI) and the regional winegrowing associations are teaming up to deliver a series of Visual Soil Assessment (VSA) workshops this spring. Graham Shepherd, a leader in the field of soil observation, will lead the workshops.

This will be a full-day workshop, with a morning classroom session and an afternoon field session, teaching growers how to assess soil quality in the field. It will be a great opportunity for local winegrowers to get together and learn from an independent expert about soil health, soil management and practical soil assessment in the field.
